You don’t have to do exercise to be “fit” anymore.

Our health is important to us for so many reasons. we want to live a long life, we want to be able to physically do the things that we want to do and not be restricted by any lack of fitness, we want to be able to be able to play sport and enjoy ourselves whilst doing things that would be ruined if we had to stop to catch our breath every 5 minutes. We want to be fit for so many reasons… yet now that we are no longer hunter gatherers, we want to be fit mostly because we want to look good. We want to be beautiful.

This change of emphasis has become so normal that even the language we use to talk about it has altered. The word "fit" no longer just means physically healthy, but is often used to describe someone who is considered beautiful. To be "fit", is to be "attractive". So where has our search to be fit led us?

It has led us to the invention of things like Omnilux treatments, something that until recently I had never even heard of. Cosmetic surgery is something that has been around for some time, and it has become reasonably acceptable that women will have procedures done in order to appear more beautiful. But male cosmetic surgery is something that is now a fast growing industry, with more and more men wanting to look fit without being worried about actually being fit. Allow me to give an example.

A treatment that again I didn’t even know existed until recently is the calf implant. A calf implant is surgically inserted into a man’s leg in order to give him “the muscle definition that exercise alone sometimes just can’t deliver”.

It seems that genuine fitness really is being replaced by simply looking good. I don’t think that this is a good or a bad thing, I just think that perhaps if we as a race don’t care about how physically-fit people actually are as long as they look good, perhaps there will be a change where you no longer have to look physically-fit in order to look attractive-fit.

Botox treatment and sweating

A lot of women use Botox treatment to get rid of their wrinkles but what most people don’t know is the fact that  Botulinum Toxin Type A can be a good remedy for hiperhydrosis.

Hiperhydrosis or excessive sweating can be a serious problem; it usually becomes a great emotional and professional barrier for both men and women.

When the patient is injected, Botulinum Toxin Type A blocks the nervous fibers which stimulate the sweat glands. When injecting botulinum, doctors try not to insert the needle too deep so this procedure will not have any harmful effects on your muscles. After 4-7 days from the procedure sweat is no longer a problem for the patient and the effect lasts between 3 to 12 months. A few more injections are necessary for a long term result.

Although the procedure is slightly painful, the effects, especially for people who had this problem all their lifetime, are amazing.

Botox

Want to remove all those ugly wrinkles and get rid of that crow’s feet well go for BOTOX. This is the banner that is doing a lot of rounds. BOTOX stands basically for botulinum toxin A and it results in paralysis. Thus when a part of the body is paralyzed, it can’t move thus it cannot get wrinkled. So in other words, you are actually inducing a toxin in your body to look great.

However, this particular induction has to be carried out by experts who know their job well. A good study of the skin must be made; the area to be induced with this toxin must be well marked, lest you develop some complications and side effects. So the next time you hear BOTOX, be careful where you go and to whom you go to look beautiful
