Does the inflammation on your skin – cellulites

Have you ever wondered what the inflammation on your skin is? It is called Celluitis, and is the bacterial infection caused by the inflammation of connective tissue underlying the skin. Cracks in the skin, cuts, burns, insect bites, surgical wounds are the common areas of the occurrence.

It can appear on any part of the body but face or lower legs are the most common areas where celluitis can occur. Some times it is only superficial i.E affecting only the skin but some times it can spread to lymph nodes or bloodstream.

It occurs commonly to elderly people and those with weakened immune systems like people with diabetics.

The common symptoms include fever, headache, nausea and redness on leg.  A course of antibiotics is necessary to cure the same.
