Is your baby having Diaper Rash?

Diaper rash is as common in babies and toddlers as simple cold and is generally caused by the constant wetting and drying of delicate skin and exposure to irritants. It can be caused by irritants like urine, stools, detergents, fragrances, plastics component of diaper, baby-wipes or even soaps.

There are many preventive measures to avoid the diaper rash, but with all the preventive measures, it is very common for your baby to have a rash.

O        Change the diapers often and wash the skin during the change.

O        Use an ointment such as Desitin®, A&D®, Eucerin®, zinc oxide or Nivea®.

O        Keep the baby without diaoer for some time to provide open air to the skin.

O        Switch to different diapers, if the issue is recurring in nature.

O        Limit exposure to above mentioned irritants like soap
