Natalie Portman lost her fashion sense

Natalie Portman showed up to the lower Manhattan Cultural Center’s annual "Downtown Dinner" looking lovely as hell, but with 2 plasters on her arm and dressed in a rubbish bag. I don’t really know why! She stilll looks >It 's amazing her tits didn’t pop out! Not as if that would have been bad– I’m thinking maybe just for her, but who can tell for sure? I’m telling you this world is turning into shit ! If even Natalie Portman is screwing up and can’t maintain the decent image she created for herself, I don’t know what I can ask from the dumb audience of celebrities! So, for god’s sake Nats, use your common senses, and stop letting toodlers prank you! Please don’t follow the trend of being weird! If you begin being weird and ugly, my whole belief system will crash and turn into a useless pile of shit!

NHS – No High Standards!

What is it with the Government?  They continue to allow huge numbers of people to move into the UK But they continue to under-fund the public services that are required to deal with the increased population.   The NHS was already in trouble before large amounts of immigrants seeking a better way of life arrived here – but one has to wonder if they didn’t have a better standard of healthcare in the country they arrived from!

Once one of the jewels in the UK Crown, and the envy of most of the world, our NHS is now little more than a triage that prioritises people into a queue system for further investigation by an ever-decreasing number of trained medics.  The BBC is reporting today about a forthcoming “Panorama” programme that shows the state of the maternity care within the UK.  At one time a pregnant woman was assured of the best of care during her 9 months of pregnancy, and a trained staff to help her bring the baby into world.  These days it rather depends on the part of the country you’re in and the amount of babies being born there as to whether or not this is your reality.

Childbirth was at one time a lottery with many things that could go wrong, but our NHS system of midwives, doctors and technology created an environment where it was safer for both mother and baby to have the pregnancy ended in a hospital situation.  With things the way they are currently, it’s going to go back to the old way of women taking their chances at home with a home delivery rather than risking infection, lack of medical expertise and perhaps even a lack of privacy in the hospital.  Doesn’t this sound like a third world experience?

If the Government continue to allow an increasing number of immigrants into the country, and don’t consider the implications on an already overstretched health (and education system) there’s going to be higher mortality and illiteracy rate than the UK has experienced in a long time.  Is this what we want?  If not, we need to start funding the NHS by paying our medical profession what they’re worth so they are less inclined to migrate to other countries, and by increasing the incentives for trainee midwives, nurses and doctors to join the NHS.
