Posh in Boots
Beautiful and practical make a pretty powerful combination when we are weighing up the footwear trends for 2010. Terra Plana shoes, for instance, are comfortable to wear but, more importantly, are also eco-friendly option for those individuals concerned about the planet’s sustainability. Obviously, this alone isn’t enough to sell shoes: Terra Plana shoes are really attractive. These shoes are rather more casual than some other designs but when you can promise that elusive concept of high heels and comfort, you are bound to be onto a winner! Terra Plana trainers, for instance, have been designed to improve your posture and strengthen your foot muscles by stimulating your nerve endings as you walk.
Footwear trends for 2010 seem to allow room for all styles, from classic pumps to platforms, over-the-knee boots to chains around the ankle – even angular heels all the way through the spectrum to the highest, thinnest stilettos it is possible to stay upright on. Anna Sui produce a collection of high boots, revealed as metallic leather boots complete with fur trims as well as knee-high boots with zip fronts, featuring studs – all highly reminiscent of the traditional motorcycle boot. Even the Anna Sui shoes follow the work-boot design, covered in metal studs and very macho-looking.
As a complete contrast to Anna Sui, Philip Lim designs focus on the ubiquitous ankle boot, still very much a favorite of the footwear trends for 2010. Philip Lim produces lace-up ankle boots with lacy ankle detail, incorporating a high platform heel whilst Christian Siriano’s ankle boots are designed in patent leather as well as brown leather with upturned toe, the whole design finished with gold heel. Overall, however, it is the classic styling of the military and motorcycle designs that leads the way in footwear trends for 2010, with the focus still hovering around the ankle lacing boots that have proved so popular in the past.
One last thing before I go, I have finally decided to go and book the appointment to get that tattoo that I had gotten when I was young and rebelious removed. It has been annoying me for far too long, it would seem I have grown out of that whole adolescent stage now. However, I was looking on the page for laser tattoo removal Maidenhead and I don’t actually know if it will look better afterwards, some of the photos are a little bit unconvincing! What do you guys think is worse, a really bad circle thing or a faint outline of one?
